Hello!

Good Day!

How goes it peeps?  This is one of my favorite Eat Cake Graphics cards to date.  I love Baxter's face, looking up as if saying "Hello World, Here I come!"  And then we have Thurston pondering about what Baxter is thinking about.

I used my brown prismacolor pencils for the bears, and blended them in with gamsol.  I love how they intermingled! I also used my Stamping Bella Mixed Media stamp to add to the design paper in the background.  Adding some of my older Bella's Bobbles too.

The stamps used were;

Have a wonderful week, I hope the sun comes out soon!

Fairy House

Good Morning!
Here is my next Eat Cake Graphics creation.

It is Friday, and I am really excited to share this with you.   Every once in a while, more so as of late, I come up with an idea, and I am able to bring that idea into reality.  My Fairy House is one of those, and I am in love with it. It is a nice feeling to actually look at something I have made and not pick it apart!

I had previously made a birdhouse, so my template was similar. I used the mini milk carton die for the base of the house and then cut a rectangular piece, trimmed the edges and folded it for the roof.

Before assembling the two, I stamped the flowers on them, and then colored them in with my pencils. The kraft paper really makes the colors POP!

Next came assembling the milk carton, making a door with an oval punch, and putting some die cut twigs and charms on the front.

To tie it all together I mounted Fairy Nuff on the roof using a index card stick pin.  She is removable, as is the roof so you can hide many hidden fairy treasures in the box!  To secure the roof I used a mini clip.

I believe in Fairies!

Good Morning!

I am officially a year older this month, but I have to say
"I still believe in Fairies".

Today I am going to show you another of my Eat Cake Graphics cards.

Eat Cake Graphics stamps used:

This is a very layered card, and after cutting my layers and punching out the edges, I stamped the flower image on top of pattern paper. You can see the pattern on the paper showing through the flowers.  It was a spur of the moment idea, and I rather like the way it turned out.

I continued to stamp, color and cut out Fairy Nuff, doing the same for some of the flowers, which were then added to bring more dimension to the card.

To me this is a magical card. My girls LOVE fairies, and they always ask me if I believe in them.
I always answer
“If I don’t believe in fairies, then it's like not believing in magic, and what is life without a little magic?”

Happy Krafting!
Hugs,
Tanya

Hope your day is just right!

Good Morning,

Today is Thursday/Friday.  A LONG weekend, woohoo!

I am going through my paper scraps and putting together layers. For this card I used my Lily Bee paper scraps.

The image is a Kraftin Kimmie stamp from the Once Upon a Time 3 stamp set.  She is uber cute!  My youngest LUVS hugging any stuffed animals (stuffies)  and believes that when she sleeps they play all night.I colored her in to match my daughters tones, and will someday gift this to her.

Topping off the card, I added  a couple of shaped sequins in the right bottom corner, some bling, and Lily Bee Cardboard shapes.

I am entering this into Kraftin Kimmie's Wonderful Wednesday Anything Goes challenge.

Happy Krafting!

Tanya

My Guy

Good Morning,

Here is my adorable Smile  stamp that my darling husband bought me a few years ago for Christmas.  It is a Stampotique Originals Stamp.  I adore the quirky, not so "normal" images they have by Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney.

This was an easy peasy card to make.  I took out my Scenic Route paper, and cropped them to fit a 4 x 4 card.

Smile was colored with my prismacolor pencils.  To finish it off I added the American Crafts letters, some bling, and the Happy Anniversary stickers.  Yup, this one was for my darling husband on our anniversary.

Stampotique currently has a New Release Blog Hop going on.  The images are stunning, I urge you to drop by.  You can find the start of the Blog Hop HERE.

Have a Krafty Day Peeps!

Hugs
Tanya

For my Man

Hello,

As you guys have seen, the majority of my crafts tend to be on the feminine side.  So today I thought I would show you the card I made for my much loved husband.

I really had fun with this one. Adding layers, embellishments and bling. No Coloring!

The sentiment fits him perfectly as he is fun loving and has read many Dr. Seuss books. Not only as a child, but with his darling daughters as well.  We love to be silly in this house!

Without my husband, I would not be the strong, fun-loving, caring person I am today.  He makes me strive to be a better person.

Happy Krafting!
Hugs,
Tanya
