One Star at Twilight

Good Morning!

It feels so good to be back in blog land, please drop a comment to let me know how all you crafty ladies are doing!

Here we are with my Eat Cake Graphics DT card using

Bert Batula (5033-D) and
Skully Flowers (7077-E)

I am quirky, and I love bats and skulls and monotone/earthy colors. The idea for this card came from the Design Paper.  Twilight, Stars, Bats, Friends and a quirky sentiment to remind the friend I am sending this to that I am thinking of her.

What kind of Quirky things do you like?  What are your favorite colors?

I am in a crafty mood, so stay tuned, there will be more creations coming your way.

Happy Krafting,

Challenges I am entering this into are:

Easter Greetings with Eat Cake Graphics

Good Morning!

Here is my latest card for Eat Cake Graphics.  A sunny Easter card using my cute Carrot Top stamp (5037-F)

I used my Sassafras Lass paper, a wonderful company that is no longer making paper (sniff sniff). I colored Carrot Top with my pencils, and took out my grass die and my Stampin Up Punches.  The eggs in the right hand corner were created with the oval punch.  They blend in with the paper but that is how I wanted them.  Carrot Top is leaving behind hidden eggs for children big and small to find!

Is it bright enough for you?  I hope it brings about sunshine and warmth for Easter.

I would LOVE to hear from all of you.  Be sure to head over to the Eat Cake Graphics blog to view many cute creations from the new and creative Design Team.

Happy Krafting!

So glad we're friends

Hello Bloggers!

How are you today?  I certainly hope Spring decides to visit Ottawa soon.  It is really affecting the moods of my family.  We are all ready for some warmth.

In the meantime,  here is my second post for Eat Cake Graphics.

Easter is coming up, and I just had to use these two adorable pals (Carrot Top and Thurston the bear) to create a bright and fresh looking card.  Thurston even took out his Easter Ears, to celebrate.

The Eat Cake Graphic stamps used were;
4008-G Thurston ponders with his hand on his chin
5037-F Carrot Top (bunny)
7043-B Just a carrot
8091-J Bunny ears (set of 2)

This card was made from left over scraps in my "collection of many things that will eventually be used" box. I have a hard time throwing pretty things out.

Hope to hear your thoughts on this card.  I love hearing about what you liked and did not like about my creations.  Art is in the eye of the beholder, and we all see things so very differently.

Until next time,
Keep Krafting!

As long as they still had their hats.....

Hello ladies!

This is my very first post on the Eat Cake Graphics Design Team.  I hope you will keep watching as the rest of the design team will be showcased over the next several months.  Including more of my creations.

I hope you will drop by the Eat Cake Graphics Blog, so many of her fabulous stamps have been shown, and the ideas are endless!

The stamps I used are;

4008-G Thurston ponders with his hand on his chin
5037-F Carrot Top (bunny)
7028-E Cloud
8165-D Still had their hats
9003-B Party hat with stripes

The sentiment put a smile on my face, and I can't help but finish the quote with ".....the party was in full swing."

What does this sentiment make you think of?  By all means, please leave me a message, even if it is to say hello.

Have a fabulous Wednesday!

Loving Hugs

Good Morning!

I am posting this lovely card as it sure makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  The yellow hues in this card are being sent out to Mother Nature, as a reminder that we would like our Spring to start.
Like Yesterday!

I have good news!  I will be posting more, as I have been in a very crafty space.
I have also been accepted onto the EAT CAKE GRAPHICS Design Team for the next 3- 4 months.  WOOOHOOOO!
The minute I saw the ECG stamps, I immediately came up with so many fun and quirky card ideas.  So in the near future, I will be able to show you all my creations.

What are you up to gals?  What is the weather like where you are at?

Hope you leave me some messages, I like hearing what others are doing in blog land.

Owls, Owls everywhere!

Hi Peeps!

I keep seeing 2 lovely snow owls on my way to and from work.  I am in awe of them.  Although this guy does not look like them, I am really into owls at the moment.

I have enjoyed taking paper with patterns and cutting some of the pattern out.  I then pop them up, and overlap them to add dimension to my cards.  Super fun!

What are you up to in your craft room today?
