2 Cute Thursday Inspiration

Good Morning,

Here is my card for the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps current Photo Inspiration Challenge. I am using the NEW 2 Cute Digi image "Baby Girl Bunny". Is she not the cutest! To add a bit of texture to her fur, I took out my Copic blender fluid, added some to a fuzzy sock and dabbed it on the image. The blender fluid removes some of the ink and leaves a similare pattern to what you have on the cloth/sock etc. I just love playing with my Copic Blender Fluid. (My tip for the day)

Photo Inspiration for 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Challenge

Well, that's pretty much it, I had fun playing around again. Letting the photo, my design papers, and my stash inspire me. I really hope to see you all play along. As long as you use the photo to inspire any creation, you qualify to win prizes.

Happy Krafting ladies,
Hugs
Tanya

Challenges this qualifies for are:
2 Sisters: Anything Goes
Totally Gorjuss: Punch or Die (I used circle punches, corner punches too)

Pixie Cottage Challenge #80

Good Morning,

Once Upon a Wednesday over at The Pixie Cottage has a wonderful embossing challenge for you. Having a hard time deciding what to create? Why not try your hand with the sketch below. In order to enter, all you have to do is use the sketch and/or the embossing theme. Just by doing that you qualify to win the weekly prize.

My card today uses The Pixie Cottage's South End Girl. She is one of my all time favorites.  I matched her dress up with the red in the design paper instead of paper piecing today. My embossing is minimal, but nevertheless important I suppose.  I have a wonderful box of metal embellishments, and they are silver.  I really felt that gold worked best, so I VersaMarked the metal bit, dipped it in gold embossing powder, heated it up, and VOILA.  I have a nice gold flower embellishment in the lower right hand side of my card.
Well, that's it for me, a nice short post for today.  I can't wait to see what you create ladies, I am always up for some inspiration.

Hugs,
Tanya

Challenges this qualifies for are:
The Crafty Pad: Wet or dry embossing (I wet embossed the silver metal flower with gold embossing powder)
Totally Gorjuss: Punch or die (scallop circle punch and circle punch for the flower in corner)
Paper Cutz: Anything Goes

Monday's Creation - PWCO's July PaperCard Kit

Good Morning,

Have I mentioned lately how much fun I am having in my craft room? I am just loving the PWCO Aqua Amigo's set, partially due to the Water/Outdoor themed July 2011 PWCO PaperCard kit, and probably because my girls and I are getting a lot of outdoor "fun in the sun ( and water)"  time this summer.

Yes Tommy the Turtle is a boy, but he is a big fan of pink.  And yes my soon to be 5 year old giggles when she sees boys wearing pink, to which I quickly inform her that boys can like pink as much as she likes red.

I hope you are all having a fun summer, and be sure to enjoy this Monday morning.  What are you up to today?  I would love it if you left me comment about what your plans are for the day.

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #79

Good Morning,

Welcome to The Pixie Cottage's Fun With Food challenge. To get you started we have sketch #79 for you to work with. You can chose to stick with the theme, or the sketch, but feel free to combine both as I have.

I had to use my Pixie Cottage Pepe the Penguin for this card because he was just perfect for the theme.  Did you know that Michelle's Scrapbooking and More has all the Pixie Cottage stamps on sale!  She has lowered their price by 20%.

I had originally thought to use chipboard for the arrow, but I found the adorable "Let's do Lunch" sentiment and it changed my layout.  So I took one of my black arrow brads, dipped it in glue and red embossing powder, and used that on the right hand side.  I think I will send this card out to one of my girly girls, and hopefully she will take me up on the offer to do lunch.

Well I hope you have fun with this challenge,
Happy Krafting ladies,

Tanya

Karlye's PWCO Creation

Hello,

Just wanted to show you how versatile PWCO stamps can be. If you have young children at home, the PWCO Sport Series I and II are perfect. Karlye had 2 birthdays this weekend, and she made this card for one of them in just 5 minutes. I like that I get to use these fun stamps, and so do my children. Zoe the Swimmer looks like she is having fun in the multicolor waves, don't you think?

Have a wonderful Tuesday, and don't forget to save the date for the PWCO Blog Hop July 23rd, 2011 9:00 am MST.

Monday Creations - PWCO's July PaperCard Kit

Good Morning,

Here I am on this humid and drab stormy Monday morning with this bright and cheerful card. We had a nasty storm last night, so this image has me daydreaming about the amazing sunny weekend we just had.

The above card is my Monday Creation using PaperWorks Co. July PaperCard Kit. Everything you see on this card was in that kit. No need to search through your papers and ribbon box for coordinating colors, all you need to do is open the kit, and your projects pretty much jump out at you. LOL, ok not quite that easy, but easy enough!

The paper with the octagons reminded me of umbrellas on the beach, which then had me envisioning this little crab scuttling along pinching everyone's toes, so out came Carlos the Crab, one of PWCO's Aqua Amigo's stamps. The rest just came together based on color coordinating.  I do have to point out the luscious red cardstock, it has a slight texture to it, and it is so sturdy!  In case you are wondering about the sentiment, I took the border sheet that comes in PaperCard kit, and cut it out, placing it above Carlos.

Paper: July 2011 PWCO PaperCard Kit

P.S.  Don't forget about our NEW Release BLOG HOP this comming Saturday.  Tune in July 23rd, 2011 9:00 am MST for fun, challenges, and prizes to be won!

Have a Kreative day!

2 Cute Rubber Stamps

Good Morning,

I am preparing for my daughter's 5th birthday and we are having Ariel come to visit. So that means I have about 12 invitations to make. Here is the first one. I always keep one for my daughter's memory box, and since Jayme likes purple, I personalized hers by adding her name in purple letters.

I used Mermaid and Friends, another adorable 2 Cute Rubber Stamp. The colors I used were dictated by my 5 year old. She went and got me the DVD so I could put the proper colors down on paper. LOL. She was more than pleased. Now, here is a little secret, I have photocopied this image after coloring it. So now all I have to do is cut out, glue on and send out the other 12 invitations. I will be sure to post a picture of all of them when they are done.

Don't forget that 2 Cute Rubber Stamps currently has a Bling It Up challenge going on HERE. Again, I have used my DCWV bling cardstock, so this would qualify.

Have a wonderful day ladies, we are kleening up here after a really bad storm, and it is grey, dismal and humid. How about you?

Hugs
Tanya

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #78

Good Morning,

Welcome to The Pixie Cottage's Challenge #78. The wonderful sketch is to get you started, however, if sketches are not your thing, you can always follow along with this weeks "Wrap it with Ribbon" theme. As long as you use one or the other, you qualify to enter, and thus win. Won't you play with the Pixie's?

I used Hannah with Butterflies, a Pixie Cottage stamp available to purchase at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More, or Heather's Stamping Haven in Ottawa. I must have been a bit tired, because if you look on the Pixie Cottage Blog, I forgot to put the sentiment in the bottom corner.  But I have uploaded a new picture here with the "For You" sentiment.  I also followed along with the theme, and wrapped the left side with lace ribbon.  Adding acrylic butterflies that I stamped with white Staz On.

Let me know what you think ladies, I just love hearing from you.  Have a great day, and I hope you decide to play along.

Hugs,
Tanya

2 Cute Rubber Stamps Tuesday Challenge

Good Morning,

Welcome to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Bling it Up challenge.   I have used the Thank You Cat digital stamp, soon to be available in the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Etsy store.

I decided to use subtle bling.  My design paper is embossed with bling, and I embossed my image with clear embossing powder that has a touch of sparkle to it.  I really loved the colors of the paper, so I incorporated them into the flowers, and added matching rhinestones (more bling) into their centers.  I put a trio of bling in the bottom right hand corner as well.

I am not sure if I like how furry I made the kitty.  My daughter is over the moon with her, so I suppose it looks ok,  I just wanted to give her a bit more of a 2D look.  Did I succeed?

I hope you all decide to play along, keeping in mind, as long as you follow the theme, your creation qualifies.  So be sure to BLING IT UP  with 2 Cute Rubber Stamps this week.

NOTE: Be sure to Check out the Sneak Peek of a New Digital Stamp that will be available Next Tuesday! If you are the first to guess what it is you will WIN the new digital stamp!  AND Heidi is offering a 25% coupon code for all her 2 Cute Rubber Stamp Etsy shop stamps and  to all facebook fans starting now and for the entire week!

Happy Krafting,

Monday Creations - PWCO's July PaperCard Kit

Good Monday Morning!

Here I am again, very excited to share this card with you.  Today I get to show you yet another creation using PWCO's July 2011 PaperCard kit.  This kit is full of fabulous brightly colored and water themed papers, so what better stamp to use than PWCO's Wallie the Whale.  Wallie is part of the Aqua Amigos, and I am so in love with this set.  They are so cute, so easy to color, and just too much fun. Be sure to check out the matching sentiment stamps that go along with Wallie and his amigos, mine are ordered and I am waiting patiently for the mail LOL!

I went to town with the water theme this week.  I tried to make it look like Wallie was blowing water out of his spout with the wave flourished paper. The background paper is self explanatory; waves. I then played around with the coordinating ribbon to make it look like waves.  Have I mentioned that PWCO's PaperCard Kits always come with a bag full of matching embellishments?  As you can see, I used some of the ribbons, the brads and the buttons from this kit, to add the finishing touches.  I LOVE to coordinate.

Well, I hope I have urged you to get out your stash, to create, and to have fun.  What better way to start the week!

2 Cute Rubber Stamps Red, White and Blue

Good Morning,

Following along with this weeks 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Challenge -Red White and Blue, I created this little gem of a card. I really like the paper rosettes I have seen around Blog land, so I thought to make one without a die. The first thing my darling husband says to me is "It looks like a badge." What a clever man, would this not be a very cute badge for a Cowboy birthday party! Sigh, I don't think my girls will go for a Cowboy party though. LOL.

I used Cowboy Kid, a wonderful circular 2 Cute Rubber Stamp that is also available in digital form HERE.  I like that the 2 Cute Rubber Stamp company has both rubber and digital.  A little something for everyone, how nice is that!  It also makes it easy to craft imediately using the digi form, until the mailman delivers the rubber to your doorstep.

Happy Krafting this week ladies,
Hugs,
Tanya R

PaperWorks Co. Sketch 88

Good Morning,

July is certainly proving to be busy, hence I am staying out of trouble. Somewhat ;) PaperWorks Co. is currently on Sketch Challenge #88, and the team has some news for you. Be sure to head over today and read all about it.

What I can share with you is that from this sketch challenge forth, anyone participating in the challenges will have to use a PWCO stamp. So today, for a limited time, if you head over to PWCO, you will be given the lovely digital frame image to download. How nice is that!!!! A gift on this fine Wednesday morning.

For my creation, I rotated the sketch. This Get Well Abby stamp reminds me of a game we use to play in the school yard. Do you remember the "He loves me, he loves me not..." game? Abby is just so adorable, hence the Adore Bingo card.  If you take a peek at what the Bingo card is tucked into, you will see one of the free PWCO digital frame stamps that is genersously being given out for your own personal use. Well, that's it for me, what will you make with the sketch this week?

P.S  Be SURE to check out the details right HERE!  A PWCO blog hop, a new RAM release, and prizes that can be won.  Save the date ladies, July 23, 2011.

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #77

Good Morning,

Welcome to The Pixie Cottage Challenge #77.  This weeks theme is Wet and Wild, and the sketch used is #77, the one above.  Note:  You get to choose whether or not  your creation will be based on the sketch and/or the theme.  Please use your Pixie Cottage stamps, but if you don't have any, feel free to use your own.

The Pixie Cottage stamp I chose to use this week is Hannah with Umbrella. I don't know about wild, but it sure fit the Wet part of the theme.  Then again, if Hannah is anything like my 2 girls, jumping in the puddles can get a bit wild.  I did change up the sketch just a tad.  I found that my oval in the right lower corner was to overbearing, so I switched it up a bit and added 3 rhinestones.

Be sure to head on over to Michelle's Scrapbooking and More, she has come out with some new digital Pixie Cottage stamps, and she has started up a Monthly Copic Club.  Lot's of newness for the Summer I tell ya!

Have a fantabulous Wednesday ladies,
Hugs,
Tanya

Monday Creations - PWCO's July PaperCard Kit

Good Morning,

This month I will be posting my PWCO creations on Monday. I am responsible for showing you nifty things one can create with the PaperWorks Co. July 2011 PaperCard kit.

Did you know that each month PWCO creates these fabulous kits, full of wonderful papers, matching cardstock and matching embellishments.  No more searching for matching ribbons and such, it is all in the kit.  The BEST part of this kit is the quality of course, and it is only $11.99 a month. Not to mention that it is always up to par with the current Season we happen to be in.

The PWCO July kit is a fun filled kit with oodles of outdoor papers that are bound to get your creative inspirations going. What better stamp to match this month's kit; Zoe the Swimmer.  I used the wonderful water wave paper for the center in attempts to make Zoe look like she was splashing about and making waves. The background paper was used to add dimension. To add to the water theme I took the cute fishy paper and added a tab to the lower left hand corner. AND, as I mentioned before, July's kit is packed with matching embellishments, so out came the ribbon and brads to finish off the card.  I have to say I am ALL about matching things up.
